INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana All-Stars split a pair of basketball games with their rival Kentucky Saturday in front of 6,466 fans at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Indiana girls fell 75-67 for their first loss in the annual series in the past eight games.
Indiana Miss Basketball Karissa McLaughlin, a Homestead High graduate, hit 4 of 16 shots en route to 12 points in 28 minutes, while her high school and all-star teammate Madisen Parker totaled two points and three rebounds in eight minutes of action.
The Indiana boys, who were coached by Carroll High School coach Marty Beasley, held off a late Kentucky rally to win 94-89. It was Indiana's 25th win in the past 26 games, including its 17th consecutive over Kentucky.
Also being recognized during the ceremonies were the past Indiana All-Star squads from 2007, 1997, 1987, 1977, 1967 and 1957.
